We have two suppliers of local organic lamb. When you order from us your meat may come from Hazlewell Farm in Carmarthenshire, or from our own farm in Ceredigion.
Hazlewell supplies us all year round with a great selection of lamb cuts, and our own farm is only just starting to produce meat and so supply is limited.
A little bit about our lamb: From our flock of Welsh Speckled Sheep, we are now producing our own organic lamb. Fed on nothing but grass and our own cut hay, we have only limited availability of this as we are still in the early stages of growing the flock numbers. Born and reared in Llangeitho, slaughtered and butchered in Tregaron, and sold in Lampeter, it all happens within 10 miles so a truly local product.
If you are looking to order your lamb from a specific farm, please leave a note in the comments section. We will substitute with the alternative farms meat to fulfil your order unless you tell us otherwise.
