This amazing new No Added Sulphur 60% Merlot 40% Cabernet Franc red from the sun-drenched South of France has intense Merlot based black fruit flavours with notes of plum & herbal garrigue spice singing from the Cabernet Franc. A great wine in it's purest unadulterated form.

Produced by renowned French vintner Jean Bouquet, this Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the best Mendoza can offer. Made from 100% organic grapes grown 1,200 metres above sea level and bottle-aged for 4 months, this is a classic example of Mendoza’s quality reds. The colour is a beautifully intense purple, with just a hint of red. The nose is heavy with mild spices and red fruits, and the wine has elegant flavours of cherry, blackcurrant, and minerals. The acidity keeps the wine refreshing with every sip, and you get hints of tobacco, black pepper, and ripe fruits on the palate. The tannins are structured and the end is long, producing one amazing Cabernet!

Argentina

Selected organic grapes are sourced mainly from vineyards in Tupungato at an altitude of 1200 meters (4000 feet) above sea level, one of the highest points in Mendoza. 100% Malbec given limited time in American and French oak during the fermentation, then aged for four months in the bottle prior to release. Packed with effusive notes of blackberry, damson and cassis overlain with a subtle hint of spice. An aromatic note of floral violet adds to its heady charm. Gloriously ripe with with a lively freshness and vigour. Excellent structure and persistence. Brilliant with steak and strong cheese.

Light purple and ready to be enjoyed in its youth. It has aromas of ripe plum and dark cherries with notes of blackberry, cassis and an earthy undertone that leads on to a soft and smooth tannin structure. Incredibly soft an easy to drink, this wine is light enough to be chilled down slightly, and enjoyed with a tuna steak from the BBQ during the summer, or on its own with roast chicken, game or lamb during the cooler months.

Slightly turbid purple/red in the glass, showing aromas of wild cherries, plum and mulberry with just a touch of raspberry lift. There are hints of flowers, leather, smoke, spice and herbs with wafts of liquorice, earth and mandarin rind. In the mouth the initial attack of fruit is awash with wild cherry sheathed in tobacco leaf, with supporting fruit flavours of dark plum and blackberry. Nice, cooling gravelly finish.
