Food Safety Coordinator, 8hrs per week

Are you passionate about food & understand our ethos, whilst prioritising food safety? Do you have the relevant food safety qualifications & experience in food safety & quality assurance?

Your responsibilities will include:

• developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety programs & procedures
• conducting regular inspections & audits to ensure compliance with food safety standards
• training & educating staff on food safety practices & procedures
• maintaining accurate & up-to-date documentation related to food safety compliance
• identifying potential food safety hazards & carrying out corrective actions
• liaising with regulatory agencies & external auditors during inspections & audits
• investigating food safety incidents, conducting root cause analyses, & implementing preventive measures

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, microbiology, or related field
• minimum of 2 years experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related role
• knowledge of HACCP principles & food safety regulations
• strong analytical & problem-solving skills
• excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• ability to work independently & collaboratively within a team
• proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & food safety management software
• certification in food safety (e.g.HACCP) preferred
• a minimum of 2 references
