Trainee baker, 3-4 days per week

Our Bakery is based in Lampeter & we are looking for a new team member to join us.

We produce tasty sourdough bread, delicious cakes, pastries and other baked goods for our two amazing shops, local businesses and Home Delivery customers.

We are looking for someone, with kitchen/bakery experience, who loves our products & who would thrive in a high-paced bakery environment.

The successful candidate should have a positive attitude & enthusiasm for our products & ethos, would be meticulous, paying close attention to detail, & want to be part of our hard-working team.

We are keen to find an individual, who would be committed to the role, and also:

  • be on our rota for early shifts starting at 2.30am or 4.00am
  • work 3-4 days per week including some Saturdays
  • provide holiday cover when required
  • work consistently, respond to direction & follow systems
  • work closely with the team, to make our high-quality product
  • work diligently to maintain our high hygiene standards by focusing on & maintaining a clean & tidy workspace.

Starting pay rate: £13.50/hr increasing when fully trained and on successful completion of probationary period

Shift length: 8.5hrs
