Roast, fry, boil, stir-fry or marinate Kombu / Kelp. Wrap around oven-baked fish or steam. Mix with other veggies, rice and pulses (increases their digestability and speeds up cooking time). Use in stock, add to soup (basis for dashi), or stews.
Natural flavour enhancer with a meaty taste. Roasted it tastes like bacon, sweet, liquorishy and salty.
